How do you feel to have a win in the first game of top 16?
- I’ve had too many games this week. I did have a special affection for the MSL, so I prepared well for it. As I was practicing I decided on a two factory build, the opponent’s economy was better than I had anticipated on which put me at an ease. I’m happy about the scenario going as I had wrote it.
You talk about your powerful two factory rush
- Recently, if the Protoss tries to press hard early on, those units will end up dying from the mines, the build I had today was to come up with the most possible units from two factories. I put much thought into the build and also did many tests with SCV saturations to come up with the best possible build. The build I had was strong enough that if the opponent did an expansion the game is over for him.
Were you under pressure to be playing against a Protoss?
- I had much confidence in myself up until the point when I lost to Free yesterday in the Pro League game. I did not think I could lose, but I did and I was hurting from it. But today my parents called me and from the conversation, my spirits were revitalized and I was able to have a peace of mind. I think I win half of my games against the Protoss race. I think it’s too early to say that I’ve overcome my Protoss obstacle. I will say proudly to everyone that I’ve overcome it after I have a better winning record.
Who do you want to play in the top 8, Hwasin or Bisu?
- Of course Bisu. I hope it goes as I have it in my mind and move up to the top 4 and I don’t mind facing the Protoss race either. I think the winning record is better when you practice against one race opposed to facing all three races.
You’re not playing well, but it’s just the beginning of the season
- I know it’s early on in the season but the Pro League record isn’t up to standard.
We usually don’t have good starts early on. But Frozean and I don’t take it to heart too much because of our poor records. It’s just too early to do that and there are so many games left over, I hope the fans don’t get too impatient about it.
Any last words?
- I saw the articles yesterday after losing to Free, and as expected there were quotes like `of course`, `that’s FBH for you`, `he got lucky in the MSL` etc.. Everything was ok but the part `he got lucky in the MSL` was too much for me to take. I have poured my heart and soul to make it to the MSL and I wish people wouldn’t say that kind of stuff without knowing. That is the case for all the gamers; I wish people wouldn’t be so quick to judge after watching just one game. I wanted to say this to the fans who write those negative remarks.
