The following interview was done on Luxury, Flash, and 815 after winning their 2nd Pro League match this season, making them 2-0
How do you feel to have two consecutive wins?
Flash: Because of today’s win I can sense that our team has gotten much stronger. Due to the results today I feel like we will have many more wins in the future.
Luxury: After I joined the team we’ve won two games in a row. That’s puts me at an ease mentally, and emotionally. I feel like we can very well win all the games.
815: Usually in the past we would do very well in the beginning and towards the end of the season collapse. This season I will be much more discreet so that won’t happen again.
You both have two wins
Flash: People tell me often that my pace has dropped recently. I fell like I have improved immensely, but for some reason my league record isn’t the best it could be. In the future I’ll try to do better to have more wins.
Luxury: It’s early on in the game to say much, but I feel like I’m doing my part so I am very satisfied.
Were you nervous to play for the first time this season?
815: It’s been awhile since I played on TV so I was very nervous. Nonetheless I think I did fairly well.
You had an easy win with a good timing rush
Flash: I was certain of the victory with my rush. I think TheRock chose the build probably thinking that it would fit well with my known playing style, but made many mistakes with his micro and when I saw his nexus I felt that all I had to do was harass him a little and I’d win. I think what happened was he didn’t see my vultures making a move.
You showed much better control
Luxury: The 12 o`clock position on the map Raid Assault is the best position. If you practice you’d notice that the 6 o`clock location generates less minerals and also through an overlord search the gas can be seen very quickly. Anyways Nal_Keke made one grave mistake allowing me to take the win. Well I don’t know if it was a mistake on his part, but his scourges came to my base two at a time making the gap between the units even bigger, consequently I was able to win because of that.
After your transfer you have two wins, can you compare the first game to your game today?
Luxury: I don’t feel the burden on my shoulders as much. The first game I was stressed out, but the 2nd game having that first win and also my most confident matchup is against a Zerg so I wasn’t really nervous at all.
Your macro was pretty good, but you made a mistake with your plague in the middle of the map one time
815: I saw his units so I had to quickly decide whether to use the swarm on his units or on my lurkers and made a bad mistake by using the plague instead. I felt awful, if I had lost those units I could have thrown the game away. I positioned my defilers and just waited.
The day after tomorrow you have a StarLeague game in `Chun 모무` (two hours away from Seoul)
Flash: As always I am confident. I have one loss, but have plenty of time to prepare so I will practice very hard for it. I’ve already forgot about the first loss and to have a comeback victory I will give all my might.
You’re falling below fan’s expectations
Flash: I am to; I’m not playing the same game that I play during practice. For me to say now I’m adjusting to stage games but I’m currently very comfortable on stage to show you my true skills. I am ready to go back to my old self now.
You showed a heart ceremony
Luxury: Flash did it before me, and the coaching staff wished for it as well so I tried. After I won I felt really good so it came out naturally but I feel a bit weird now. I worry that it showed on TV.
Do you think luxury is a good addition to your team?
815: It’s been a great help to have him sit next to me. The game I played today was something I rarely do; I saw Luxury do it and copied him. We get along very well on the team.
Your next opponent is the Samsung team
Flash: Three strong teams in my mind are Samsung Khan, Lecaf Oz, and SKT1. If we beat Samsung Khan I think we can beat the others as well. Of course KTF is the strongest team.
Luxury: Samsung is the last season’s champion. We have two wins, but will turn that into 3 wins.
815: They’re a strong team, therefore it’s the most important game for us, and I will practice very hard to beat them.
Any last words?
Flash: People say we have a weak Protoss line. We will prove to them that it isn’t the case by showing you all great games from the Protoss lineup. I know for certain that they are going to show you some great games. I want to say thanks to all the Protoss gamers for helping me, especially to Kizzo_Major for recommending the build.
