You have your first win on the opening game
- It was my first time even coming out on the opening game day. I noticed last week that the teams that won on the first set ended up winning it all somehow. So I really wanted to win today and after I won I reassured JaeHoon that we are going to win today.
Do you think stepping down from the team captain’s position has helped you to play better?
- I wasn’t slumping because of the position, but rather having to practice both team play and individual games at the same time. During the b-season I only practiced one on one which I think caused me to have good results.
You played against your ex-teammate July
- I was ecstatic to play against him, first of all he is a great player and have stated in the past that once he left the MBC Hero team he never really lost games against us. I said to myself he has never played me though, so I wanted to prove to him that I could beat him.
So you are only focusing on the one on one games?
- I’m very happy to be doing so. I can concentrate so much better, I have to make up for the lost time by practicing very hard.
This season’s goal
- I want to tell you after I achieve it. For now I want to win all the games I play in.
Last words
- For the most part I practiced with my teammates, and it was a great help. Everyone criticizes us for having a bad Zerg lineup. Our Zergs will do great this season, and amongst them I will be the ACE Zerg.
